In today’s world, bad news is everywhere. Wars, natural disasters, disease, and fear are seen at every turn. However, God has given us Good News: the Good News of Jesus.

God knows that everyone has sinned...

“...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

In the Bible, God declared that sin must be punished...

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God.” (Psalm 9:17)

Therefore, God came in the Person of Jesus Christ and died for us...

“God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

When Jesus died on the cross, He was accepting punishment for our sins...

“He bore our sins in His own body on the tree (cross), that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness.” (1 Peter 2:24)

Therefore, if we believe that Jesus died for us and we trust Him to be our Savior, He will forgive us for our sins and give us His eternal life in heaven...

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

If you would like to trust Jesus as your own Savior, pray this prayer, believing Jesus will hear you and save you:

Dear Jesus, I believe in You. I believe you died on the cross to pay for my sins. I am sorry that I have sinned against you. I have broken Your law and I have left You out of my life. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my life. Today, I confess that You are my Savior forever. Thank You, Jesus, for giving me eternal life. Amen.
